Grocery Department Manager

The Grocery Department Manager manages and leads all aspects of the Grocery Department including profitability, staff supervision, customer service, productivity, and department conditions. In addition, the Grocery Department Manager supports and advances Mariposa’s dedication to social justice, food justice, and access to healthy and sustainable food through product selection, communications, and internal leadership. This position will set up Mariposa for continuing success in the local market by ensuring that the Grocery Department is competitive and able to accommodate the changing needs of member-owners, shoppers and employees alike.

Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assistant to the General Manager (GM) provides administrative and logistical support to the GM, the Board of Delegates, and others as directed by the GM. They are responsible for meeting assistance; internal communications support with support from the Marketing Coordinator; schedule coordination for departmental meetings; effective communication & collaboration with other staff, among others.

Overnight Grocery Stocker/Receiver

The Overnight Grocery Stocker/Receiver (full-time) is responsible for receiving large deliveries according to established practices and expectations; maintaining a clean, attractive, well-stocked and rotated displays throughout the department; providing prompt and courteous assistance to shoppers; and assisting customers with shopping needs, among others.

Grocery Stocker/Receiver

The Grocery Stocker/Receiver is responsible for receiving, stocking, and promoting products in an efficient and focused manner in addition to providing excellent customer service to customers and members by answering questions about products and leading them to what they need. They work alongside other members of the Grocery team.
