Perishable Buyer - Buyers select, price and promote, and stock designated products in their sub-departments, in this instance for the perishable departments (refrigerated, frozen, meat, cheese, and prepared foods). They are responsible for meeting objectives for sales, margin and inventory turns as well as providing prompt, friendly, informed and helpful customer service. Buyers report to the Grocery & Wellness manager, support general department functions and may be trained to work as a backup Buyer for other sub-departments.
Security & Loss Prevention Associate - The Security and Loss Prevention Representative is responsible for supporting and managing a safe, secure, and welcoming Co-op for all staff and customers. They will exhibit a sense of urgency when responding to all emergencies, monitor daily activity on the sales floor to ensure policies and procedures are being followed, and will maintain a physical security presence on the sales floor while interacting with customers to ensure a safe and pleasant customer experience. Security and Loss Prevention Representatives support and encourage consistent implementation of the Co-op’s customer service standards and support the Facilities Manager and Front End Manager in identifying and implementing processes, policies and standards.
Produce Manager - The Produce Manager is responsible for overseeing all functions of the Produce Department including staff management, product buying, merchandising, financial management and ensuring that all aspects of the department’s operation are in alignment with Mariposa Food Co-op’s goals and expectations. The Produce Manager ensures that the department continues to meet or exceed the expectations of the industry and customers alike by making strategic changes and improvements as needed. The Produce Manager reports directly to the Cooperative Executive Officer and is a part of Mariposa’s leadership team.
Shift Lead-The Shift Leads support and manage daily tasks Mariposa’s Front End and other departments, support and encourage consistent implementation of Mariposa’s customer service standards, support the Front End Manager in identifying and implementing processes, policies and standards.
