Directed by Lori Waselchuk

Abolition Conversations is a series of short videos featuring community stewards, activists, artists, and people impacted by mass incarceration. In Episode 1 we are invited to the table with Christopher R. Rogers and Kevin Upshur, two dedicated organizers working in the Strawberry Mansion neighborhood in Philadelphia PA. Representing over 40 years of wisdom gained through their justice work in community, cultural, and youth spaces, Christopher and Kevin share stories about their lives and their work building safer, more resilient, and more caring communities.
