Who are our bakers?

Crust Vegan Bakery, Philadelphia, PA

Crust Vegan Bakery is a women-owned and operated vegan bakery with an emphasis on social justice. Bakers Shannon and Meagan - the vegan baking queens of Philly - had been baking out of a local commissary kitchen since August 2015 until recently opened their own storefront in Manayunk. Crust is committed to donating and supporting local Philly organizations. Their baked goods are free of artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives. Everything is hand-made with all-natural ingredients and 100% vegan.

Whisked!, Washington, DC  

Whisked! opened in May 2011, selling handmade baked goods at the 14th and U farmers market in DC. Founded by Jenna Huntsberger, a food blogger turned professional baker and small business owner, Whisked! has since grown to become a beloved institution, selling pies and cookies — made with real & simple ingredients — at local farmers’ markets as well as in stores in the DC metropolitan and Philadelphia areas.
