Pre-ordering your holiday favorites with Mariposa guarantees quality at an affordable price, with local, fresh turkeys that start at just $2.89/lb. for Mariposa member-owners, and $3.15/lb. for all other shoppers. To place your order, fill out the form below and make your $20 deposit through PayPal.

How to pick up your pre-order

If you plan to shop while picking up your pre-order, we advise you do so before you head to the register. When you're ready to checkout, please tell your cashier your name, account number (if applicable) and pre-order item. If you pre-ordered a turkey, your $20 deposit will be used toward the total cost of the item, unless you plan to pay with SNAP/EBT. Please note the following pick up dates and times:

Koch’s Antibiotic-Free

Weight ranges: 10 - 30 pounds

Member-owner pre-order price: $3.05 per lb.

Please note, a $20 deposit is required to pre-order a holiday turkey and is processed through PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account, only a valid card. Those planning to pay with SNAP/EBT do not need to make a deposit.

This amount will be applied to your purchase when you pick up your turkey in-store (unless paying with SNAP/EBT). Because turkeys come in many different sizes, we request that you specify your preferred range. While we cannot 100% guarantee you the exact weight, we will do our best to ensure you get the turkey you reserved.

Not ready to commit? A limited number of turkeys will be on sale in store beginning Saturday, November 23rd while supplies last.

Who are our turkey farmers?

Howe Turkey Farm, Downingtown, PA

Since 2008, Nathan and Julie Howe have been farming turkeys on their family-run farm, located just 40 miles west of the Co-op. Every year, around 4,500 turkeys arrive at the Howe Turkey Farm as one-day poults in the beginning of July. Howe all-natural turkeys are fed an 100% vegetarian diet.

Koch’s Turkey Farm, Tamaqua, PA

Koch’s Turkey Farm is a pioneer in raising antibiotic-free turkeys with an all vegetarian diet. Farming since 1939, the Kochs do not use animal by-products or by-products of any kind such as out of date bakery goods, fish meal, or pet food by-products. Koch’s Turkey Farm is GAP (Global Animal Partnership) and Certified Humane approved. The farm provides its turkeys with twice the amount of barn space as is required by normal commercial growing practices.

Who are our bakers?

Crust Vegan Bakery, Philadelphia, PA

Crust is a women-owned and operated vegan bakery (and Mariposa favorite!) Bakers Shannon and Meagan - the vegan baking queens of Philly - have been baking out of a local commissary kitchen since August 2015. Crust baked goods are free of artificial colors, flavors and preservatives. Everything is hand-made with all natural ingredients and 100% vegan.

Willamette Valley, Salem, OR  

Willamette Valley Pie Company has been growing berries in Salem, Oregon for three generations. What began in 1999 as a small cannery-style operation in a backyard warehouse has quickly turned into one of the Northwest’s leading processors of high-quality berry products.
