Please note, a $20 deposit is required to pre-order a holiday turkey. This amount will be applied to your purchase when you pick up your turkey in store. Because turkeys come in many different sizes, we request that you specify your preferred range. While we cannot 100% guarantee you the exact weight, we will do our best to ensure you get the turkey you reserved.

Who are our turkey farmers?
Nathan and Julie Howe have been farming turkeys since 2008. Every year, around 4,500 turkeys arrive at the Howe farm as one-day poults in the beginning of July. Howe all natural turkeys are fed a vegetarian diet. Read more about their farm in the 2014 fall issue of Edible Philly.
Koch’s Turkey Farm is a pioneer in raising antibiotic-free turkeys with an all vegetarian diet. Farming since 1939, the Kochs do not use animal by-products or by-products of any kind such as out of date bakery goods, fish meal, or pet food by-products. Koch’s Turkey Farm is GAP (Global Animal Partnership) and Certified Humane approved. The farm provides its turkeys with twice the amount of barn space as is required by normal commercial growing practices.
Plainville Farms farmers raise certified organic poultry on family farms in a stress-free environments using holistic practices to promote their well-being. Turkeys are raised without the use antibiotics, added growth hormones or steroids.
